Diamonds - Colour
The clearer the diamond, the greater is its value. The larger the degree of colour found in a stone, the lower the value of that stone will be. This is with the exception of the very rare coloured stone such as pink, blue, purple, red, which make diamonds extremely valuable. Stones that are clear or colourless are referred to as “a perfect stone”.

You are correct, the clearer the stone, the greater a diamonds value. Colour, is only 1 of the 4C’s that go into the quality of a diamond. Don’t forget…cut, clarity and carat weight!
