History of the Groom’s Flower

Boutonnieres are an old wedding tradition.  Grooms traditionally will wear a flower in his buttonhole that appears in his bride’s bouquet.  In the medieval times, a knight would wear a flower of the same colour his lady would wear as a declaration of his love for her.
