1.   Have your wedding invitations shaped into a leaf design, as well as your wedding ceremony programs.

2.  Instead of a guest book have a wired tree and paper shaped leaves.   Your guests can fill in their best wishes on the paper leaves and have them hang them on your tree.  It’s a great addition to your wedding theme and a sure conversation piece.

3.  Have your florist add additional leaves to your wedding flowers.

4.  Use colored leaves to decorate your guest tables at the reception.

5.  Have your bakery make cupcakes for each guest with a chocolate shaped leaf on top.

Alyssa Milano and Hollywood agent David Bugliari are married.  Their wedding ceremony was quoted as being a reflection of them as a couple.

Alyssa wore a custom wedding gown by Vera Wang, and I think she looked beautiful.

Fall is just around the corner and so are those wonderful, juicy apples.  I’m looking forward to going apple picking and making some of my favorite apple recipes.

A wedding theme can be anything you want, even apples.  If you are looking for a fall themed wedding, why not choose apples.  I love the color green, so I created this inspiration board focusing on the green apple theme.

It’s a great theme for a late summer early fall wedding.  What do you think?

Wedding Candy Buffet

Candy Buffets have become so popular it’s unbelievable.  When I got married 9 years ago, no one would have ever thought to have a candy buffet instead of the traditional pastry buffet or a midnight meal buffet (if you’re having an Italian wedding) .  I would have preferred the candy buffet, it would have been such a hit with my family and friends.  Who doesn’t love candy or chocolates?

If I were to have a candy buffet, I would definitely stick to colors that enhance my wedding theme.  You could go crazy with all the selections of candy out there, and very easily stretch yourself out of budget .  Choosing candy in your wedding color tones will both enhance your wedding theme and be very classy.  Don’t forget the candy bowls, bags and candy scoops.  The little details add so much to the table presentation.

I love this idea, how about you?  Do you love it or hate it?
