Bride’s Review : Levi & Vanessa, August 23rd, 2008

I have the unique experience of both working for and using the Her Wedding Planner site. For the past 4 years of working with them I’ve been planning my entire wedding because I’ve seen so many unique vendors come on board the site which has given me great ideas.

When it came time to plan my own wedding I knew what I wanted. In fact, the first dress I tried on I ended up getting. I got my dress from Once Upon a Bride located in Kingston, and they were so nice, and so relaxed, it was a very nice experience. They had a large selection but I knew after the first dress I tried on, I had to have it.

My wedding was a very peaceful backyard wedding with a very country warmth type of feel. Talk about country, the day before, a farmer next door was spreading manure and we had to ask him to stop because it would not have been pretty.

Reading the E-book was also very helpful in getting some practical money saving tips for the wedding. herweddingplanner.com/hersecrets/ebook.htm

I totally recommend using the Wedding Planner (of course because I work for them), but honestly I would know. It is such an easy site to use, it’s directed to you locally, it’s not too busy, and it has such great features like the rewards program for example. It’s like being a part of a secret brides planning club.

I made a short slide show of some wedding pictures for you to look at. My colours were purple and yellow. Also our wedding favor was honey, we ordered jars online and filled them with honey we bought locally, which was a very sticky experience. The site does have vendors that have pre-filled jars, which might be a better way to go.

Well to all you brides out there, happy planning!

Thank you for sharing Vanessa, you were a beautiful bride.
