Looking like a true royalty in her flowy, dreamy, tulle wedding gown, The Princess Diaries star, Anne Hathaway, tied the knot with her long time beau – actor and jewelry designer Adam Shulman, last September 29, 2012 in a private wedding held at the California coast.
Hathaway and Shulman began dating last November 2008 and became engaged last November 2011. With the help from Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove, Natalie Portman’s wedding planners, Hathaway was able to put together her perfect intimate Jewish wedding ceremony with a hundred and fifty plus guests mostly composed of family and friends and a few people in show business.
Her Valentino vintage-inspired wedding gown went flawlessly well with the sunset, nature-inspired marriage ceremony and wedding reception. The rustic barn decorations not only include the natural and scenic private residence in Big Sur but also featured tons of branches and tall pine trees from the ceremony to reception.
The 29-year-old bride kept her short pixie cut hair with no accessories aside from a vintage-inspired headband where her simple yet beautiful wedding veil was attached. Despite the debate on whether her headband did well or bad for her, it’s undeniable that the two newly-wed couple can’t wait to spend their whole lives together.
If you want a vintage-inspired wedding veil and gown as well as an outdoor vintage-themed wedding like Hathaway, there are so many ideas that you can choose from.
