Brad Pitt and Angelina Joli have finally wed after 2 years of engagement, and nearly a decade together. The couple wed Saturday, August 13 in the Southern province of Correns in France at Chateau Miraval. Their children participated in the ceremonies; Maddox and Pax walked Angelina down the isle while Zahara and Vivienne dropped pedals on the isle, and Shiloh and Knox acted as bearers.
The ceremony was intimate and surprisingly not followed by a honeymoon, instead Brad flew to the UK to start promoting his upcoming film, “Fury.” Brad and Angelina had obtained a marriage license in California from a judge who also performed the ceremony in France. Sources say the union was less a commitment and more of an affirmation of a promise. Brad had been quoted once as saying they wouldn’t marry until gay marriage was legal everywhere, although this hasn’t come to pass, their marriage is something the family has looked forward to for some time.
